INET Conferences
Conference branding and collateral for a series of innovative international economics plenaries
Reawakening, 2017
Plenary conference held in Edinburgh. The primary theme was the need to reconsider and build on the work of historic thinkers such as Adam Smith. A set of remixed images of Edinburgh’s iconic statue of Smith provided the basis for imagery at the conference. Additional design by Debra Ohayon.
Liberté, Egalité, Fragilité, 2015
Plenary conference held in Paris. The primary theme was acknowledging the fragility of new and existing economic systems. Our design for the conference was stoically continental, with specific elements and the conference name drawing on specifically French political concepts and Parisian landmarks. Additional design by Debra Ohayon.
Human After All, 2014
Plenary conference held in Toronto. The primary theme of this conference was attempting to ground innovation—in systems, technology, and markets—in the human beings who benefit under, suffer from, and are inherent in innovation itself.
The Good Life (2013)
Conference held in Shenzhen. This conference was intended to confront the idea that overall economic strength inherently led to individual improvements in quality of life. English language logo provided by INET.
Changing of the Guard (2013)
Plenary conference held in Hong Kong. The primary theme was marking a shift from established economic thought and challenging new thinkers. Our identity was in the form of a rising or setting sun, drawn based on an I Ching hexagram signifying revolution or molting.
